1. Why do you write erotica and what do you love best about it?
I write erotica because I absolutely have to. If you want to know what I love about it, let me tell you about writing, 'Bravery has its rewards'. I've been to a few mixed kink/swinging events, so I drew on my experiences as a nervous newcomer. When I put pen to paper, I remembered my timid glances whilst watching a scene in progress between a woman and two men. I remembered the good humour of everyone involved, and the times when I didn't know whose fingers, legs and arms belonged to whom. It was a real treat to see regular (non-airbrushed) people getting down and dirty, pleasuring each other with such energy. They shared the usually private moment with me, and in writing this story, I've been able to share some of it with you. Sharing pleasure is what I love about writing erotica. It's a real honour.
2. Tell us about your story in Swing! Adventures in Swinging by Today's Top Erotica Writers and please feel free to give us an excerpt.
My story is about a woman, new to swinging, who attends a party with her more experienced partner. She overcomes her initial shyness to enjoy an intense scene with another guest. I wanted to show how a couple could support each other in discovering new things.

In the front room, we paused to watch a woman being tied up by an able man whose hands moved with precision. He created a rope dress on the woman, using a single length of white rope to bind her, whilst accentuating her breasts, bottom and thighs. The pale lengths contrasted with her dark brown skin, and it was an impressive sight to see. The man then helped the woman to her knees, and proceeded to unzip his pants. My short stories have appeared in many different anthologies, including, Afternoon Delight, which has received some great reviews. I've also been in Best Women's Erotica 2008 and 2009 , Best Lesbian Erotica 2008, and Iridescence: Sensuous shades of Lesbian erotica . I will be appearing in Where the Girls are , and Girl Crazy later in 2009. I've also got a festive shape-shifter story with Shadowfire Press, and a paranormal erotic story with Liquid Silver, that features sex with ghosts!
4. What are you working on now?
Too many things! I have a new paranormal novella coming out with Shadowfire Press, on the 29th May. It's called, Angel on the Roof. It features elemental magic, and lots and lots of sex. I'm also working on building up an anthology of my own pansexual/bisexual erotica.
5. If you could offer one piece of advice to a new author, what would it be?
Write because it moves you, because it drives you. Don't hide your passion, don't try to be polite. Be dirty and messy – surprise yourself! Write, because not writing would be just unacceptable. Feel all of those things before you pick up a pen, or switch on the computer. Have that kind of fire roaring inside you, and it will burn up the page!
